Fashion Friday is Tardy

Sorry once again for not being prompt with my Friday post, but life has been crazy busy lately.  This week's fashion focus is on athletic wear.  I know that it may be hard to believe, but athletic clothing doesn't have to be over-sized and unflattering.  It can be comfortable and colorful.  There are many sites that have athletic clothing, but there are three that I really like, so I am going to showcase them.

Athleta- This site is awesome!  They have athletic clothing for every sport imaginable.  From warm weather to cold weather and everything in between.  You can shop by type of clothing or by sport which I really like.  You can also shop by size and they have extended sizes, so it was great for me. Some of the items I really liked are showcased below.

Short Sleeve Boytom Tee $39.  I love this color!

Hitch Skirt Capri $69.  I think this is fun for zumba or other dance classes.

Kickbooty Pant $79.  The kind of pant that makes your booty look good :)

UnderAmour- Also has a large selection, you can search by type of clothing or type of sport.  Does not have extended sizes.  Their clothing is very comfortable and made very well.  It is a little less expensive than Athleta.

Women's PIP UA Form Full Zip Hooded Jacket

Women's PIP UA Full Form Zip Hooded Jacket $49.99.  Other colors available.  Perfect for winter.

Fashion Friday... moved to Sunday this week

So, I pretty much love online shopping.  I like to go to all of my favorite sites and click away items into my shopping bag as if I just won the lottery.  I usually end up buying only a couple of must-have items and sometimes just making a shopping bag is enough and I walk away without buyer's remorse.

Torrid is one of my favorite stores to shop at and they are having a 50% off sale (mostly items from late summer/early fall) and a Fall sale on items that are newer.  There is a lot to choose from, so if you are in the market for some new cothes you should take a moment to check it out!

Another site that I love is Asos Curve.  Some of their clothes are pretty expensive, but they are so chic and trendy.  I found the Christmas dress of my dreams on there, but they don't have my size, so I am not sure if I should order it a size down to wear later in the winter or just skip it all together.  Here is the link to the dress, check it out and the other great items at this site.

Lastly, new items that I love at Forever 21+ since they have fun and really trendy stuff there for a great price. I am going to post my new favorite items that they just came out with.  Check them out below.

I love the texture on this top and the color.  I also like the way it looks with this hat, the styling is great.

If you haven't gathered this yet from some of my other fashion posts I LOVE SKIRTS! This one is chic enough for work or dressy enough for a night out or special occasion.

I love the retro feel that this jumper/dress has.  I imagine pairing it with a cardigan or a long sleeve shirt underneath, with some tights and booties.

Veteran's Day

Today I have the day off because it is Veteran's day.  I feel so thankful to have the freedoms that I have because of the veterans who have served and who continue to serve our country.  I know many people I work with are just happy to have the day off, but it is important to take a moment to be thankful for the reason that we have the day off of work.  So, thank you to all of the current and former soldiers who have served this country so that I could be safe and enjoy my freedom!

I spent the morning relaxing a bit and not cramming too much into my schedule.  I have woken up every day this week at 5 am to work out and I took this morning off to sleep in.  I actually slept until about 9:30 which is pretty late for me.

I am going to clean my apartment, do some laundry, go to the grocery to get some new produce, cook dinner and go to Zumba!  I love this class and I don't always make it because it is at 4:30 and I work until 4:30 most days, but since I am off I will be able to make it to Zumba in time.

I think I am going to add some new items to my blog to spice things up and make sure that I am blogging regularly.  I am thinking of doing a Must-Have Monday which will include all things healthy related that I love and want to share with everyone.  I am going to also add Fashion Friday's because I love clothes and shopping and I think it is fun to talk about something else besides healthy eating and exercise.  Hope everyone will like the new topics.  I am still going to do Saturday Sessions because I think it is important to set goals every week to keep yourself interested and motivated during this journey.
